Meet the Owner
Luisa Robert
Meet Luisa Robert, the definition of dedication and perseverance. She has been married to Kyle Robert for over a decade. They are proud parents of Sofia and Jacob and care for Taco, their energetic German Shepherd, who adds an extra layer of joy and responsibilities to their busy lives.
Recently, they have decided to homeschool their kids. This choice presented significant challenges for them in the past, but now they understand it is necessary for their kids’ future.
Luisa has a Bachelor of Science and has over 18 years of experience as a Software Quality Engineer. She taught herself how to build websites, became a freelancer, and is an avid Crossfitter.
Luisa is energetic, loves to work out, spend time with her family, and stays up-to-date on health, nutrition, and homeschool laws.
Throughout her life, she has always tried to help people with technology. Even though she spends a lot of time behind a computer, she enjoys the outcome of her work. Some would say it is not worth it, but for her, it is validation that if you work hard at something, it will pay off.
She was born and raised in Colombia. When she was 6 years old, her dad migrated to the United States, leaving behind her mom and two younger sisters. The circumstances of her dad’s departure are understandable now, but as a kid, she was devastated. Her childhood was different from most. Everything she did as a kid had to have a purpose because there was no time to waste and no money to lose, as her family had very little.
She got reunited with her dad before her 15th birthday. Her parents taught her and her siblings to make smart decisions so they could have a better future.
She got interested in learning about computers during High School. During her senior year, she had no idea about college, finances, or careers. She applied to several schools to become an Engineer because she knew that would make her parents proud.
The transition from public education was very eye-opening. She felt lost in a sea of lions, yet she knew she could never quit. She didn’t.
Luisa struggled all through college trying to learn who she was, what she liked and who she wanted to become. After 7 years spent in College, she did end up getting her Computer Science degree. She made her family proud and has had a very successful career since.
During her career, she has learned that no matter what you do, always do a good job at it. As life continues, whenever I help or work for someone, I would make it a goal to deliver high-quality results. No matter what, I stand behind my work, and when mistakes are made, I fix them.

Continuous Evaluation: Academic coaches regularly assess students’ understanding of the material through class participation, quizzes, tests, and assignments. This ongoing evaluation helps monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
Formal Assessments: Periodic formal assessments, such as unit tests or exams, are conducted to gauge students’ knowledge and mastery of specific topics or subjects. These assessments provide a more comprehensive evaluation of students’ academic performance.
Projects and Presentations: Students may be assigned projects or presentations that allow them to apply their learning, conduct research, and demonstrate their understanding of the subject matter. These projects encourage critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills.
Performance-based Assessments: In certain subjects or disciplines, performance-based assessments may be used to evaluate students’ practical skills. This could involve experiments, simulations, performances, or practical applications of knowledge.
Personalized Feedback: Academic coaches at Elite Performance Prep Academy provide personalized feedback to students on their assignments, tests, and projects. This feedback helps students understand their strengths, areas for improvement, and specific strategies for enhancing their learning and performance.
Progress Reports and Parent-Teacher Conferences: The academy often provides progress reports or report cards that outline students’ overall academic performance, grades, and feedback.

Through these assessment methods, Elite Performance Prep Academy aims to provide comprehensive feedback that informs students, parents, and academic coaches about students’ strengths, areas for improvement, and progress toward their academic goals. This approach facilitates individualized support and helps students develop a clear understanding of their academic performance.
